Willow was sitting in her room, running over the scene with Xander again and again. The spell that had compelled her and every other woman in Sunnydale except Cordelia to be in Xander, that was the focus of her rumination. Her anger, her shame, her humiliation. He needed to be taught a little lesson, experience what he had inflicted on all those women. She began to gather what she’d need to cast the spell. It was surprisingly easy. She cast it with a deep feeling of satisfaction and balance. Xander would fall hopelessly in love with the next person he saw. She smiled as she put her things away, and crawled into bed to sleep deeply and well.

Xander was half-dozing, head resting on his arms as he took a break from research. He'd normally ask Willow's help with something like this but she'd seemed kinda upset with him, ever since that debacle with the love spell on Valentine's Day. Schoolwork and he were just unmixy things.

Giles walked in from his office, glasses in one hand, book balanced on his forearm, and a cup of tea in the other. "Is this what you wanted, Xander...oh." He moved to set the book down, not wanting to disturb the young man.

Xander jerked awake, looking up at Giles, blinking sleepily. It was as if there was a filmy haze over his vision for a moment. He noticed minute details he never had before. He was staring intently at Giles, suddenly finding him fascinating. Handsome. Sexy. Why had he never noticed before that Giles was sexy? He smiled a little goofily up at him.

Giles replaced his glasses on his face, furrowed his brow in scrutiny of the look Xander was giving him, and removed them again, placing his cup down and cleaning them. "Are you alright, Xander? You seem to be...well, to be frank, you look rather, uh, high." Giles thought for a moment, and almost laughed out loud at the preposterous notion that Xander could be using drugs.

"High?" Xander's voice almost squeaked. "No, no, no, just, ummm, a little sleepy." Then a bright idea occurred to him. "Or maybe I'm running a fever. Can you check my forehead?" Perhaps not the smoothest or most original approach ever, Xander thought to himself, but hey, give him a break, he was only sixteen and not exactly all that experienced in this particular area.

Giles shook himself, and stepped around the large table. "Yes, yes of course." He pressed the back of his hand to Xander's forehead, feeling a bit of warmth. "Yes, well, you are a bit warm. Are you feeling well?"

Xander felt a strong thrill as Giles touched him. He shivered. "Not sure. I feel a little funny."

Giles turned away, looking through a stack of books. "Yes, well then perhaps you ought to go home and get into bed."

"Mmm. I'm not sure I can make it home." He got up and moved over behind Giles, looking over his shoulder.

Giles raised an eyebrow, and took off his glasses; all at once realizing the tone of voice Xander had taken. He thought for a moment, and better judgement lost out over young, virile masculinity.

Xander looked up at Giles, not exactly sure why he was doing this. But he dropped his eyes a bit, peering through long lashes. "Maybe...maybe you could drive me? To your place?"

Giles took a deep breath, then made his decision. "Yes, I think perhaps it would be best. After all, my apartment is closer than your house." He took two long strides into his office, retrieved his keys, coat and briefcase, shut the light and door, and was back out in two more strides. "Shall we?" He motioned toward the door.

Xander smiled brightly and nodded. "Yeah." He moved along with Giles. He could feel a growing excitement, his skin feeling like it was tingling, like electricity dancing over it.

As the two men walked out to the car, and got in, Giles' brain started arguing with him. He thought about how wrong it would be to take Xander, and use him, in all the ways he was planning, and how much he loved that it was wrong. Mentally comparing himself to Angelus, then dismissing the thought due to Angelus' lack of creativity, and doubly so considering Giles' sadistic streak existed with a soul, and without a demon in residence, he once again decided that be damned with it all, he was going to have the boy.

Xander settled into the car, and looked over at Giles. He'd actually, now that he thought about it, noticed Giles before. Mostly when the girls sighed over him behind his back, and he'd expressed his mock horror at that. But really, there'd always been something compelling about it. His mind had always shied away from it, he supposed, the same way he'd made such vehement denials about being gay when asked about it.

Giles drove in silence, steeling himself, retreating into himself to the place where he locked away his darker self. He stole a glance over at Xander as he parked the car and turned it off. Opening his door, he turned briefly over his shoulder and said simply, one word. "Out."

Xander blinked in surprise at the tone in Giles' voice, but he got out without arguing.

Giles walked briskly to his door, unlocking it, and ushering Xander inside without a word. He locked the door behind them, muttered a locking incantation, and uncharacteristically dropped his coat and briefcase near the door, stepping to the bar. "Would you like something to drink, then?"

"Ummm, sure." Xander was still excited, but uncertain. Giles seemed... intense. Unusually so. And Xander had never really had a drink before, aside from a beer or two snuck out of the fridge.

Giles smiled to himself, realizing exactly what Xander had just been thinking. Pouring two glasses of scotch, he sat on the couch, and handed one to his 'company'.

Xander came over and sat next to Giles, taking the glass. He took a sip and coughed a bit as the strong liquor slid down his throat. "So, ummm...” Xander blushed a bit, unsure of how to proceed, what to say. He was pretty sure Giles was thinking the same sort of thing he was, but maybe he was wrong. "Ummm... you do know I'm not really sick, right?"

Giles took off his glasses and lay them on the coffee table. "I'm quite aware." He leaned back, and crossed his legs, slowly sipping his drink. "What exactly do you have in mind?"

Xander shivered, taking in that gaze. He felt almost naked. "I don't know. I've never...” He blushed deeper. "I mean, not with a girl even. But I want to. With you."

Giles nodded around the rim of his glass. "I'd assumed as much. However, I feel it necessary to warn you, I'm not, er, well, I'm not exactly tame." Giles continued to calmly sip his scotch, scrutinizing the boy in front of him.

Xander swallowed hard, looking up at Giles and then dropping his eyes before taking another gulp of scotch. He wasn't precisely sure what that meant, but it sounded exciting. He took in a deep breath and looked up again. "I still want to."

Giles' eyes narrowed further, and he decided that was his green light. "Finish your drink."

Xander gulped down the last few swallows of his scotch. He felt a pleasant warmth in his belly, and the tone in Giles' voice was oddly compelling.

Giles stood up, set down his empty glass, and took Xander's from him. Setting that down next to the first, he tossed a look to the boy that said, 'follow me', and proceeded up the stairs.

Xander took in a deep breath, and followed after Giles, almost tripping over his feet in the process.

Giles walked up the stairs, slowly, deliberately, and led Xander into the bedroom. Not his bedroom, but the other bedroom. The one he kept for purposes such as this. The bedroom with the closet.

Xander looked around as he stepped inside. "This isn't exactly what I pictured. Well I'm not sure what I pictured," he babbled. "But it wasn't this. Should I start taking off my clothes or something?" Nervousness always made him babble.

Giles abruptly turned and closed the distance between them. Sliding his hand along Xander's cheek, he tilted the boy's face upward, and kissed him. Not roughly, but not softly, either. Chuckling inwardly, something somewhere inside Giles thought it might be called a 'matter-of-fact' sort of kiss, if such a thing could exist.

Xander's brain went promptly south at the kiss. He wasn't a great thinker at the best of times and the sudden contact made him hard with excitement.

Giles smirked around Xander's mouth, and pulled away suddenly. Spinning on his heel once more, he strode to the large wardrobe in the corner. "Take off your clothes."

"Wow. Sure. Ok." Xander was light-headed, and he fumbled with his clothes. The sweater came off easily enough, but the jeans were more difficult. But he really didn't want to disappoint Giles. It took just a few minutes for him to be standing there naked.

Giles peered through the hinge-side crack in the now open door, appreciating the sight before him. Arranging certain things for his ease, he closed the door slightly, keeping things out of sight for now. Looking him up and down fully now, Giles smirked once more, his eyebrow quirking at Xander's length.

Xander picked up the clothes. "Umm...what should I do with these?" Giles didn't strike him as the type to want clothes all over the floor.

Giles grinned wolfishly, realizing the boy truly was not only sweet, but submissive as well. "Just toss them in the corner. We're going to have a little fun."
